TheVeganKind Charity of the month - 10p from each box sold was donated to The Nonhuman Rights Project!
This month, we will be sponsoring the incredible The Nonhuman Rights Project, the only civil rights organization in the United States working through litigation, public policy advocacy, and education to secure legally recognized fundamental rights for nonhuman animals. To date, they have filed groundbreaking lawsuits demanding recognition of the legal personhood and fundamental rights of bodily liberty for individual great apes, elephants, dolphins, and whales held in captivity across the US. They consider this as effective starting point, with long-term goals to file lawsuits for more species of animals. They have been named as a Standout Charity by Animal Charity Evaluators and are working with many other legal working groups worldwide, including the UK.
