Plant-based media company Vevolution is taking its upcoming global Plant Based Business Summit online amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Vevolution normally hosts events in London, but the team has decided it won't be holding physical events during the crisis in order to 'protect the community'.
The virtual summit will take place in June and offer online events connecting the world's leading plant-based entrepreneurs and investors to share ideas.
Speaking about the launch of the global Plant Based Business Summit, Vevolution Founders Damien Clarkson and Judy Nadel said: "In these extraordinary times, we must all adapt and take care of our loved ones. For us it was important to continue our work to connect people, share ideas and support entrepreneurs in building the businesses of the future.
"The Global Plant Based Business Summit – will be connecting the global community of plant-based entrepreneurs, investors and organisations supporting the rapid growth of the plant-based economy.
"COVID-19 means society needs to take extraordinary measures – what is clear is that we must keep talking and sharing ideas. The work we are all doing is too important to just stop. We see this global summit as a chance to make us a stronger, better connected global movement of entrepreneurs."
