One of Britain's oldest pie makers Holland’s Pies is looking for a new taster to join its Pie Panel and test its vegan and vegetarian pastries.
Every six months, the chosen candidate will review Holland’s new vegan or vegetarian products. The lucky reviewer will be able to try the treats before anyone else and will receive a year’s supply of pastries.
Holland’s Pies has partnered with Phoenix Nights star and BBC Radio Manchester presenter Justin Moorhouse to promote the campaign.
Who are they looking for?
Holland’s is looking for keen, enthusiastic pastry lovers with interest in vegan and vegetarian diets. The company says it doesn’t require any previous experience. The chosen applicant will be required to attend Pie Panel meetings every six months.
“With the rising trend of meat-free diets, we wanted to ensure we had the expert opinion of a meat-free consumer on our panel to help us continue to develop our range and grow our loyal fan base,” said Leanne Holcroft, brand manager at Holland’s Pies.
“We’re looking for someone who is passionate about pastry and with a keen interest in vegan and vegetarian food, to taste and feedback on our meat free ranges – they’ll be rewarded with a year’s supply of pastry goodness after each meeting. What better way to be paid?”
Candidates must email [email protected]s.co.uk explaining Holland’s Pies, in no more than 250 words, why you are the best person to join their Pie Panel. Applications close on 22 May.
Holland’s Pies has recently expanded its vegetarian range and rolled out their first vegan product - the vegan sausage roll.
