Food giant Mars has added new vegan product to its dairy-free range. This time the company launched Galaxy vegan hot chocolate to satisfy the fans of vegan hot drinks right in time for winter.
In 2019, the Mars launched non-dairy chocolate bars in three flavours smooth orange, caramel and sea salt and caramelised hazelnut. In September, the brand added Galaxy Vegan Smooth Mint and Galaxy Vegan Crumble Cookie.
At the time of the launch, Kerry Cavanaugh, marketing director at Mars Wrigley UK, said: “We’re so excited to be bringing these delicious treats to Galaxy’s range using a vegan recipe that doesn’t compromise on the brand’s signature smooth and creamy characteristics.
“Wherever you look you can’t avoid the vegan buzz in the UK. Even though vegan treats are currently only worth £10 million in a £4 billion chocolate market, we think that by introducing Galaxy, one of the UK’s best-known brands, there is a huge opportunity for the category to grow.”
The latest news was revealed by Vegan Food UK. The group shared an image of the new drink on Instagram and wrote: “New Vegan Galaxy Instant Hot Chocolate has just launched! Now at Waitrose and Partners for £2.99. Follow us @vegan_food_uk for more exciting launches coming very soon.”
