UK's biggest meat producer Richmond unveiled its latest product development - the plant-based meatballs.
Yesterday, the company wrote in a post on Instagram: "There’s been so much love for our Meat Free sausages and burgers, we’ve been busy creating two new family favourites coming to stores soon – watch this space!
Later, they added an image presenting the meatballs with a caption: "A little sneak peak …. can you guess what family favourites we’ll be launching next week?"
Today, the brand shared another image of the meatballs and wrote: "BRAND NEW to the Richmond family, we’re so excited for you to try our Meat-Free Meatballs!
Launching next week in a family-sized pack of 16, with the succulent texture and great taste you expect from delicious meatballs.
High in protein and a great source of fibre, keep a look out for more info on where you can pick up a pack!"
According to Vegan Food UK, the meat maker is also set to launch vegan version of bacon.
The group shared a post on their social account with a picture from a major supermarket listing ‘Richmond Meat Free 8 Smokes Rashers.'
Richmond launched its first vegan product - sausages made from soy protein, in 2019.
The sausages scooped award for the Product Of The Year, in the UK’s biggest product survey.
