Vans Just Launched Vegan Shoes Collection Made With Sustainable Materials

by Agi Kaja

Popular trainers brand Vans has just launched its first vegan and environmentally friendly shoe collection.

The brand new Eco Theory collection features four classic styles made with ethical and sustainable materials.

All the shoes are made with organic cotton, natural rubber, hemp, cork, and water-based inks and glues.

The collection features Vans most popular and best selling shoes including lace-up Authentic sneakers, iconic Slip-Ons, SK8-Hi high tops, and classic Style 36 kicks.

The SK8-HI Decon 38 are made with 100 percent organically grown cotton, the laces are made from hemp, and the fossil fuel based sole has been replaced with ethically sourced natural rubber.

Vans ambassador Dane Gudauskas said: “Sustainability has to be at the forefront of Vans for the future. It’s a fantastic moment to own the space and contribute to a more sustainable way of producing.”

Vans’ Eco Theory special collection is available at select retail locations around the world and the Vans website.
